POUR
Month of Prayer
7 June - 3 July
Dear Church Family,
We are looking forward with great expectation to the month of June, our month of Pour.
The desire is not simply to have a season of prayer, but to position ourselves with expectation before God and ask Him to do what only He can do to pour out His Spirit afresh upon us, upon our church, and upon the town of Luton.
When God poured out His Spirit, lives were transformed, communities were changed, and people encountered His power and presence in new ways.
We are praying with faith for renewed passion, deeper unity, salvation, healing, revival and growth.
Over these weeks we will pray in four key areas:
Week 1: Personal Renewal – LCF
Week 2: The Church
Week 3: For Luton
Week 4: For an overflow that reaches beyond us
We will also continually bring before God our church’s vision for expansion and for a future building. We are believing not simply for a larger space, but for a Kingdom base; a place that enables greater ministry, discipleship, worship and impact in our community.
Isaiah 44:3 "For I will pour water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground; I will pour out my Spirit on your offspring, and my blessing on your descendants."
May this be a month where we see God move in powerful and lasting ways.
blessings,

3 DAYS FAST & PRAY
1st to 3rd July
6am - 6pm
Why Fast?
Fasting is more than simply going without food it is about intentionally creating space to seek God, draw closer to Him, and focus our hearts spiritually.
Fasting safely is important, as it involves caring for both your physical health and your spiritual wellbeing.
We Fast To:
Seek God more deeply
Humble ourselves before Him
Create space to hear His voice
Sharpen our spiritual focus
Grow in prayer and dependence on God
Before You Fast
If you are new to fasting, start gradually and choose a pace that is appropriate for you.
A few days beforehand, try to reduce heavy or processed foods and eat balanced meals that include:
Protein
Whole grains
Fruit and vegetables
Healthy fats
Drink plenty of water before beginning your fast, and avoid binge eating beforehand.
During the Fast
Please always use wisdom and follow any medical advice or health guidance relevant to you.
Helpful Guidelines:
Stay hydrated
Rest when needed
Avoid intense exercise during longer fasts
Break your fast gently and sensibly
Make It Spiritual
Fasting is most powerful when paired with intentional time with God. Use the time you would normally spend eating to focus on Him through:
Prayer
Reflection
Reading Scripture
Worship
Journaling
As we fast together, our prayer is that God would renew hearts, deepen faith, and pour out His Spirit in fresh ways.
